So, albeit that William and I spent much of today packing and stressing about our upcoming move (he did most of the packing, I did most of the stressing), we did decide to get away to a park for an afternoon walk. Its funny living here in north Florida. We were walking through this beautiful park (San Luis Mission Park) and over this really long beautiful wood bridge over looking a pond - and we spotted an alligator. Right there in the water, a flesh eating beast of wonder. It would freak me out a little, if it wasn't so freaking cool. We were in a park in the middle of this city, and it was the last thing I'd thought I would see. The pond was seriously lacking in water levels (we need rain here in the 6th rainiest US city) otherwise we might not have been so lucky. This picture isn't the alligator we saw today, this was taken at Wakulla Springs (just south of Tallahassee) last summer. Seeing alligators at Wakulla Springs is totally expected, so today's was cooler, but I did not have my camera handy. I still felt like a visual image was necessary.
Here's a site for Wakulla Springs
There's not really a good website site for San Luis Mission Park... but in case you're wondering what the San Luis Mission might be: http://www.missionsanluis.org/. Its a pretty cool place. We've been.

So, this was a super fun movie. It was so full of plot you couldn't take your eyes from the screen for a second. And of course J. Depp was brilliant. As was, oddly enough, Keith Richards. He was only in the movie for a total of 5 minutes, but it was perfect. And I think K. Knightley finally pulled off tough, which I was glad to see. And I really enjoyed that all of the loose ends got tied up, but they also left so much room for another movie. Which I read that J. Depp will do, he says, if they come up with another good story. I hope they do. I just love it.
On another note, we're moving in two weeks. We're so excited. We live in the worst apartment now and we hate it. We're so excited for our next apartment. A two bedroom two bath with a screened porch over looking the pool... its going to be paradise for us. I hate the packing (which has already begun) but once its done and then moved and then unpacked, it will be so worth it.

Spiderman 3 ROCKED. I have seen some very critical reviews, dogging the plot and the characterization, but for this critic (hey, every consumer is a critic), Sam Raimi scores big again with a truly heroic film. Raimi's ability to weave terror, genuine and even dark humor is unmatched in today's cinema. I have been a fan of Raimi's since the beginning (see Evil Dead series), and it's great to see him finally get the wide acclaim he deserves. Shame on you critics who seem so intent on finding even the slightest flaws. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy another great movie that will tug your heart strings, punch you in the gut, tickle your funny bone, and leave you smiling all the way out of the theater.

Spidey's dark side was very cool. And oddly, very funny. Not only is he a bad a@@, he *struts*. Loved it.
The other villains were super too. There was so much going on this movie it was almost overwhelming. But, in the end, it was just so fantastic. I can't wait to see it again.

Leah Marie and I finally decided to catch up to the rest of the world. Even though I have my own websites and multiple pages through school, I have never had my own blog, and we have never had one together. This should be a fun place to keep friends and family up to date on all that happens in our exciting life in Florida. Don't be surprised to find us complaining about things either. Comcast, for example, worst customer service ever. That's not new news considering MSN recently conducted a poll called the "Customer Service Hall of Shame," and Comcast came in third place. Okay, I was still shocked. They're an easy number one in my book.
