FOR TODAY… July 14, 2013
Outside my window... hot and stuff. We actually just had a couple of pretty cool days, but now we’re in for a heat wave this week.
I am thinking... racism, gun culture, and the justice system. If you don’t know why, you’ve not been paying attention to national news.
I am thankful... for light, fun books. The closer I get to the end of this pregnancy, the less I find myself capable of thinking too hard. So, I can’t read anything too deep right now.
In the kitchen... we’re out of dolmas. That’s all I know.
I am wearing... a summer dress. It’s not maternity, but it is still working okay.
I am creating… a person.
I am going... to an OB appointment on Wednesday. I only have THREE LEFT.
I am wondering... where the bug came from that bit me ON THE BOTTOM of my foot.
I am reading... Reached by Ally Condie
I am hoping... for time to pass quickly from here to Thing 3’s arrival. The closer it gets, the slower time seems to go, ya know?
I am looking forward to... August 6th. Duh.
I am learning… more about the homeschooling curriculum I want to use with the Things. There is so much out there; it is overwhelming.
Around the house... the usual mayhem.
I am pondering... a super early bedtime.
A favorite quote for today... “If a free society cannot help the many who are poor, it cannot save the few who are rich.” – John F. Kennedy
One of my favorite things... when the Things pick
weeds wild flowers and bring them to me.
A few plans for the rest of the week… nothin’ but survivin’.
A peek into my day:
|This is the most beard I’ve seen on Husband. I liked it, he did not.|
It is shaved off now, but he let me take some pictures first.
